En el caso de cuñas no locucionales éste actúa como “voz guía” comentando las imágenes sonoras e indicándole al cliente lo que debe pensar de ellas.

-Personaje popular: Un personaje famoso explica los beneficios que ha obtenido al usar cierto producto. Existen varias ventajas principales:

-Actor de voz o de interpretación: El actor interpreta un personaje de ficción del texto publicitario. Suelen aparecer en las cuñas dialogadas así como en las dramatizaciones especiales. Al haber ausencia de imágenes se requiere que estas voces ayuden a los oyentes a “ver” los personajes del anuncio.

-Voces espontáneas: Se trata de voces no profesionales que gracias a su imperfección y naturalidad dan mayor verosimilitud a ciertas cuñas (los testimoniales). Se trata de la voz como testimonio que suele corresponder con la gente de la calle, aunque también hay que tener en cuenta que a veces son actores haciéndose pasar por ciudadanos anónimos. Sus atributos más destacables son su sinceridad y la confianza que producen.

-Expertos: Es la mejor elección para los productos de compra racional y alta implicación ya que los consumidores darán una mayor credibilidad a la información ofrecida por un experto.

-Voces de ambiente: Voces que sirven para configurar un ambiente exterior, de la calle.
